Sustainability Efforts
With the support from Enterprise Singapore, it started to develop the energy analytic AI engine in 2014 as its core product offering. The company has grown over the years, providing its solution to help local hotels, shopping malls, manufacturing plants decarbonise. Before COVID-19, Evercomm collaborated with Pan Pacific Hotels Group (PPHG) on various innovation challenges to reduce energy and food wastage in alignment to support the Singapore green tourism strategy.
During the pandemic, Evercomm is actively expanding their product and services in the sustainability space. Through Enterprise Singapore’s Scale-up SG programme, they partnered other Scale-Up SG companies such as Ascent and V-Key, to co-develop cutting-edge digital services with innovative business models involving green financing options supported by financial institutions. The collaboration aims to encourage more companies to contribute towards the Singapore Green Plan 2030.
In 2021 alone, Evercomm has engaged more than 200+ SMEs in Singapore with a 30% adoption rate for the company’s decarbonisation services across various sectors such as Food Manufacturing, Traditional Manufacturing, Hospitality, Real Estate, Virtual Farms and Data Centres. Currently, Evercomm is also supporting other companies such as FoodXervices and Containers Printers to achieve their green ambitions in a cost-effective manner.
To extend the Net Zero ambition beyond Singapore and contribute towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), Evercomm partnered with UK tech company IONATE under the second Eureka Globalstars-Singapore call supported by Enterprise Singapore, to co-develop Virtual Power Plant technologies for decarbonisation leveraging on AI, and to pilot and scale such development with Thai conglomerate BCPG in ChiangMai University. Besides Thailand, Evercomm also worked on city-level decarbonisations challenges with NTU Ecolabs Centre of Innovation for Energy for New Taipei City Mayor Office in Taiwan, helping 20,000 local factories in New Taipei City to effectively transition towards green manufacturing.
