Job Description
The Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company and ensuring the financial health and integrity of the organization. The successful candidate will provide strategic financial guidance to the executive management team, drive financial planning and analysis, and implement best practices to optimize financial performance.
Job Requirements
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor key financial metrics and provide regular reporting to senior management.
- Ensure cash flow is compatible with operations by overseeing day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities of the organization
- Direct financial planning, prepare and submit financial reports for approval
- Oversee and manage financial reports
- Collaborate with executive management to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company goals.
- Assess and manage financial risks, interest rate, and liquidity risks.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed.
- Oversee and provide guidance to finance team on the preparation of audited financial statements and notes to accounts
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize financial performance and develop a high-performing finance team
