Job Description
The Business Intelligence Manager (ESG) holds a critical role in driving sustainable business practices and ensuring the organization's alignment with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. The scope of work includes:
a.) Conducting comprehensive analyses of ESG-related data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing detailed reports that inform strategic business decisions and promote sustainable growth.
b.) Working closely with internal teams such as sustainability, compliance, IT, finance, and operations to integrate ESG considerations across all business functions and ensure cohesive implementation.
c.) Designing, developing, and maintaining advanced tools, including predictive models, dashboards, and analytics platforms, to monitor and measure ESG performance effectively.
d.) Ensuring the organization remains compliant with emerging global ESG regulations by conducting regular audits, updating policies, and preparing for external assessments or certifications.
e.) Developing and implementing ESG training programs across the organization to foster awareness, knowledge, and accountability among employees at all levels.
f.) Leading initiatives to identify and mitigate risks related to ESG, such as climate change impacts, resource efficiency, and social equality concerns, while capitalizing on opportunities to enhance the organization's sustainability credentials.
g.) Establishing partnerships with external stakeholders, including community groups, regulatory bodies, industry associations, and NGOs, to strengthen the company’s ESG reputation and collaborate on impactful projects.
h.) Driving innovation by researching and applying new technologies and methodologies that enhance ESG operations, such as renewable energy solutions, ethical supply chain practices, and data-driven sustainability strategies.
i.) Preparing and presenting detailed reports on ESG performance to executive leadership, board members, and shareholders, ensuring transparency and accountability in the company's sustainability efforts.
j.) Managing the development of ESG benchmarking standards for internal and external comparisons, guiding efforts to achieve leadership within industry benchmarks.

1. Able to work independently
2. Interact with collegues from different departments (Finance, Admin etc)
3. Consolidate and perform sustainability data analysis (e.g. compute carbon footprint and prepare climate-related risk assessment)
4. Prepare monthly sustainability update for company management meetings
5. Keep records on sustainability data and reports.
