Red Hat is looking for recent graduates to join us in a group of 14 early talent professionals as a Technical Graduate (up to 3 years after graduation), in Singapore on a 12-month fixed term contract. In this role, you’ll take part in a 12-month intensive structured learning program, covering onboarding, soft skills training, and completion of Red Hat’s technical certifications. You will immerse yourself in Red Hat’s technical solutions like Cloud, Containerisation, and Open Source Software, and have the opportunity to gain practical experience through shadowing and learning assignments within our Consulting and Pre-sales functions. You will grow through mentorship, global experience, and direct experience learning.
What you will do
- Put your technology knowledge to use by assisting with specific customer projects under the supervision and mentoring of experienced Red Hat’s associates
- Use your technical knowledge and business understanding to create solutions for a wide range of technical challenges
- Constantly learn about new Red Hat’s technologies and apply those concepts to customer needs
- Assist Red Hat team members in setting expectations and delivering solutions on customer sites
- Build and maintain solid relationships with your colleagues and our customers
- Complete a number of training courses at Red Hat University and earn both internally and externally recognized certifications
- Proactively look for solutions to prevent issues from occurring
- Bring innovative ideas to the project team while identifying new business opportunities
Job Requirements
What you will bring
- Tertiary qualification (Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Security, Data Science, Business Management or a related field of study
- Recent graduate or graduated within past 3 years
- Ability to work effectively both on your own and as part of a team
- Ability to collaborate with both internal and external customers; excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Motivated with positive approach and willingness to learn
- A strong interest and aptitude for Information Technology
The expected start date of our technical graduate program is Oct 16, 2023.
