Job Description
The Netsuite Finance Specialist will be responsible for designing, managing, and improving finance-related systems and processes within Novowatt’s NetSuite ERP platform. This role ensures that financial data flows, reporting structures, and project accounting practices fully align with the business needs of a fast-scaling EV charging infrastructure company.
The selected candidate will participate in financial system design, budgeting workflow automation, and integration of operational revenue models (e.g., charger billing, MCST reimbursements, subscription fees) within NetSuite. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in accounting and ERP reporting, with a focus on data accuracy, compliance, and decision support.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain NetSuite’s finance modules, including general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, fixed assets, and chart of accounts.
Collaborate with finance and operations teams to set up and maintain project-level budgets and track CapEx/OpEx for EV charging site deployments.
Analyze charging session revenue, energy reimbursements, and operating expenses to support financial forecasting and reporting.
Design and generate financial reports, saved searches, and real-time dashboards using NetSuite’s reporting and data visualization tools.
Map and validate data from Novowatt’s backend systems (driver billing platform, energy meters) into NetSuite, ensuring data integrity and financial accuracy.
Maintain and optimize financial master data, including project codes, charger asset registry, and driver billing classifications.
Uphold data ethics best practices by ensuring financial records are secured, access-controlled, and aligned with PDPA requirements.
Support the preparation of audit documentation, ECCG subsidy reporting, and investor dashboards by leveraging accurate ERP data.
Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, CRM, operations, and external council teams (MCSTs) to align reporting outputs with business needs.
Provide training and support to internal users on financial workflows, reporting tools, and best practices within NetSuite.
Participate in UAT (user acceptance testing) and documentation for new finance-related NetSuite configurations, upgrades, or automation workflows.
