Job Description
• Developing and implementing supply chain strategies to improve performance and reduce cost.
• Overseeing the purchasing and inventory of goods based on company requirements.
• Managing relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance with terms of contracts.
• Coordinating with other departments such as sales, production, and finance to forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of products or services.
• Implementing new technologies or systems to improve and streamline supply chain processes.
• Assessing and managing risks to supply chain operations due to potential disruptions or variances.
• Monitoring and adjusting supply chain activities to meet changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
• Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and ethical standards in all aspects of supply chain operations.
• Maintaining accurate records of supply chain activities, including tracking, measurement, reporting and analysis of performance data.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, supply chain management, or related field.
- Experience in a related field.
- Ability to manage logistics of all aspects of supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished items.
- Understanding of accounting or finance.
- Technical skills.
- At least five years of experience in this field.
- Excellent understanding of supply chain processes and good knowledge of relevant software and ERP systems.
- Great project management and problem-solving skills.
