Internship Description:
As the Project and Events Officer, Strategic Programmes, you would primarily be involved in existing projects and events to increase the tech talent pipeline for Singapore.
You shall be given the opportunities to communicate and build rapport with key partners and event attendees. You will also play an integral part in developing a digital community.
Through your participation in these projects and events, you can accumulate experience in event management and enhance your skills in strategic thinking and problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing the database from a digital community platform to engage tech talents
- Co-organize networking opportunities and virtual events for tech talents
- Assist in implementing social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies
- Gain solid knowledge of the tech talent landscape through effective data tracking and analytics
- Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Duration/Start Date:
- Preferably 3 months, starting from May 2022. Please state your availability.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Problem-solving and eager-to-learn attitude
- Experience in launching community initiatives would be a bonus (e.g. managing an online community group chat, creating an event series and/or email newsletters)
- Tech-savvy, with an interest in the technology space
- Customer-oriented mindset, with an aptitude for fostering positive relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and channels
- Strong organisational and event management skills, with an eye for detail
