Job Description
Staff selected for the programme will first go through a 6-month full-time intensive cybersecurity training, including in-house classroom training and on-the-job training, comprising the following topics:
1. Enterprise System Administration – Linux
2. Enterprise System Administration – Windows
3. Enterprise Networking Fundamentals + Troubleshooting
4. Virtualisation, Containerisation & CI/CD
5. Scripting & Automation
6. Cloud Infrastructure (AWS-focused, intro to GCP / Azure)
7. Security Compliance & Hardening
8. Networking Devices & Enterprise Security Systems
9. Identity, Certificates & Protocols
10. Enterprise System Integration & Capstone
Subsequently, they will be placed as an Associate Network/System Engineer.
This role will be involved in the design, engineering, implementation and operational support of enterprise network and IT infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments as well as security technologies such as firewalls, load balancers, network appliances and integrated IT systems. The incumbent will provide technical consulting and advisory support, develop system specifications and conduct solution presentations to stakeholders while contributing to the architecture and deployment of resilient and secure network infrastructures.
In addition, the role involves hands-on troubleshooting of complex network issues, conducting vulnerability assessments and implementing remediation measures to strengthen system security and reliability. Leveraging knowledge in Linux and Windows system administration, networking fundamentals, virtualisation and containerisation, scripting and automation, cloud infrastructure (with exposure to AWS and foundational GCP/Azure), identity and certificate management and enterprise security systems, the role also supports system integration initiatives to ensure end-to-end operational effectiveness across enterprise environments.

- No prior IT background, knowledge or academic qualifications are required. However, applicants must pass the selection test administered by Red Alpha before they can join the programme.
