About Company
Scantist was a spin-off from a security research lab in Nanyang Technological University since 2016. Built upon our extensive research base and deep scientific expertise, we have created an automated platform for you to manage your open source usage. Up to 90% of codes used in applications are open source and imported by developers, which leaves the software supply chain unchecked and vulnerable for exploitation. This introduces potential threats and risks of exploits that could cost your organisation an average of about U$3.886 Million.
We want to help you use open source freely and confidently while staying legally compliant and we are here to stay. Our dedicated team will work alongside you as we put our commitment into action in enabling your business success. Leave the hard work to us as we help you manoeuvre the intricacies of open source solutions.
Our people are the heart of our business. While we may deal with the creation of our solutions the old school way, our culture is definitely not. Scantist empowers diversity and inclusion to build trustworthy relationships with our employees, partners, investors and customers.
Scantist graduated from the CYLON Accelerator Program (2020) organised by ICE71, in joint venture with Singtel and the National University of Singapore. We also won the Cyber Security Agency (CSA) of Singapore’s Call for Innovation Grant in 2020, an innovation award at HUAWEI’s Spark Program 2021 and received the National Cybersecurity Research Grant from the National Research Foundation of the Singapore Prime Minister Office (PMO). Scantist is also an industry collaborator to facilitate the National Integrated Centre of Evaluation’s (NICE) research into the use of a Software Composition Analysis tool as an application evaluation technique. We are proud recipients of these awards and partnerships and believe they are testaments to the value of our solutions.
