Job Description
Financial Analysis:
- Analyze and interpret financial data to provide actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for budget deviations.
Accounting:
- Perform daily accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and policies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting procedures.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, statements, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial statements to regulatory authorities.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Support budgeting processes by providing accurate and timely financial information.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of budget models.
Data Management:
- Acquire, clean, and validate large datasets for accurate financial and accounting analysis.
- Implement data quality controls and perform routine data audits.
Reconciliation:
- Perform regular reconciliations of financial accounts, including bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Ad Hoc Analysis:
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to address specific business questions or support strategic initiatives.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on data and financial findings.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial accounting or financial analysis roles
- CPA or equivalent accounting certification is highly desirable.
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
