Job Title: Business Intelligence Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Intelligence Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Business Intelligence Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of business intelligence strategies. Your primary focus will be to transform raw data into meaningful insights, driving informed decision-making and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to understand business objectives and develop a comprehensive business intelligence strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Design and implement a roadmap for the development and evolution of business intelligence capabilities.
Team Leadership:
- Lead a team of business intelligence analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, ensuring the development of their skills and expertise.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Oversee the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure accurate and timely data integration.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable insights to various stakeholders.
Data Governance and Quality:
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of business intelligence data.
- Monitor and address data quality issues, collaborating with relevant teams to implement corrective measures.
Technology Management:
- Evaluate and select appropriate business intelligence tools and technologies, staying abreast of industry trends.
- Work closely with IT teams to implement and maintain business intelligence systems and infrastructure.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with departments across the organization to understand their data needs and provide support in leveraging business intelligence for strategic decision-making.
- Act as a liaison between IT, finance, marketing, and other departments to ensure alignment of business intelligence initiatives with overall business objectives.
Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor the effectiveness of business intelligence solutions and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Stay current on industry best practices and emerging trends in business intelligence.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a business intelligence or analytics role
- Proficiency in data analysis tools
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into non-technical terms for diverse stakeholders.
