Responsibilities:
As the Sales Manager, the role entails spearheading the development and execution of strategic sales and marketing initiatives aimed at driving sustainable growth within the dynamic IT sector. Key responsibilities include shaping business direction through data-driven market insights and analytics, managing client relationships, and expanding the company’s presence both locally and across regional markets. The role demands a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities, optimising sales processes, and fostering strategic partnerships to strengthen the company’s competitive position.
Job Requirements
Incumbent will:
- Client Prospecting & Business Development
Identify and qualify potential clients through market research and lead generation to build a strong sales pipeline and support business growth.
- Sales Strategy & Target Setting
Develop and implement sales strategies, set realistic targets and achieving KPIs, and identify priority markets and product/service offerings to maximise revenue and profitability.
- Proposal Development, Pricing & Contract Management
Prepare tailored proposals, develop competitive pricing strategies, negotiate contract terms, and manage agreements to secure profitable deals.
- Accounts & Customer Experience Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring exceptional customer experience and prompt resolution of issues, and maintaining the CRM database.
- Market & Business Needs Analysis
Analyse market trends, client feedback, and competitor activity to provide actionable insights that guide sales and product development strategies.
- Data Analytics & Performance Monitoring
Utilise sales data and analytics tools to track performance metrics, forecast demand, identify opportunities, and recommend data-driven improvements.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Work closely with marketing, product, finance, and operations teams to align sales activities with broader business objectives and support technical sales efforts.
- Partnership & Channel Management
Manage relationships with channel partners, support partner training, and leverage partnerships to enhance market reach and sales effectiveness.
- Budgeting & Financial Coordination
Cross-collaborate with teams on sales budgeting, project finance updates, and invoicing processes to ensure financial targets and compliance.
- Marketing Collaboration & Campaign Support
Coordinate with marketing teams to ensure sales content, product promotions, and co-marketing activities are current, relevant, and aligned with sales strategies. Manage and support the development and curation of offline and digital content and collateral. Evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns and identify areas of improvement.
- Team Leadership
Lead and support the sales team by setting clear goals, providing guidance, and cultivating a collaborative and high-performing work culture .
