Reachfield IT Solutions has served a multitude of reputable organisations, providing solutions that can be readily deployed over LAN, WAN or the Internet in large enterprises. Their list of clients includes government and techology partners namely, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Singapore Tourism Board and TÜV SÜD PSB Singapore.

Flat structure fosters communications and collaboration
Reachfield IT Solutions embraces a flat organisation structure and promotes open communication, providing an environment where interns feel comfortable asking questions and learning from colleagues. Mr Alwinderjit Singh Basant, a Software Engineer Intern, described his experience, "The working environment is conducive and close-knit, allowing for easier collaboration among colleagues".
Moreover, interns were given an opportunity for 1 to 1 guidance from senior management. Mr Mallvin Rajamohan, who was an intern from 15 March 2021 to 13 Aug 2021, described how Mr Winson Wee mentored him, "Throughout my internship, Mr Wee gave me advice and shared his experience in the IT industry. These sharing sessions gave me great insight of the industry and helped me to prepare my future career."

Experienced professionals at Reachfield IT Solutions are always readily available to guide young talents along their professional development journeys. Mr Mallvin Rajamohan recalls how he was coached on the company's business and working processes before he was assigned any tasks.
Maximising potential skills
Mr Winson Wee believes that challenges are opportunities for young talents to learn and are the only paths that lead to growth. He makes sure that interns are given exciting assignments that stretch them beyond their current capabilities.
Mr Mallvin Rajamohan reflected on how he learned new programming languages during his 6-month internship at Reachfield IT Solutions. Through the help from his colleagues, he overcame the steep learning curve and gained hands-on experience in real-world projects, such as full-stack web Application Development using Java J2EE.
Managing real-world projects
One of the exciting prospects that many interns look forward to at Reachfield IT Solutions is getting hands-on experience in projects and playing a vital role in stakeholder management.
Working together with other software engineers during his internship, Mr Alwinderjit Singh Basant developed a modular license plate proxy server that picks up data on license plates of cars entering and exiting private condominium estates, and visited the estates to set up and deploy the servers on site. This experience has helped him broaden his horizons in dealing with external parties and developing enterprise-level applications.
"Throughout the six months internship, we developed several applications that tackled real-world problems," said Mr Alwinderjit Singh Basant.

When asked about the recruitment philosophy at Reachfield IT, Mr Wee shared, "We have always focused on candidates' quality over quantity. The members of our senior management invest time and effort in recruiting the best talents. As a result, most of our employees have stayed with the company for more than ten years."
Reachfield IT is a participating company in the Global Ready Talent Programme (GRT), which has helped them gain traction with potential talents. As they look to grow, they are excited to work closely with local institutions to hire other interns.
